This week we have been noticing shapes. So to help get our classroom festive for the the Harvest Party, the students created pumpkins out of shapes. Spookly the Square Pumpkin helped us think about how being different makes us special and gave us ideas for creating these playful pumpkins.

Each fall our school community works together to help raise money and awareness for the needs of tigers in the wild. This week we used a site called Pebble Go (see parent page for password if you would like to explore at home) to learn more about tigers. Why? Well, we believe in helping to protect and caring for others and animals.  Using what we learned about these wild cats, the students decided to write a promise that would help teach others about the importance of tigers and their needs.

Add to the comments what you learned is important to tigers.
